The morning after my host sister’s two-day wedding I was doing my part to clean our house. I was on my hands and knees scrubbing my bedroom floor when my host mother told me I needed to stand-in for our family at another wedding. My host family was too busy cleaning the massive mess at our house to go.
So, she gave me money to give to the bride and groom and I slept-walked my way through Khmer wedding #12. I only went to this wedding for two hours because I had to get to school.
Happy wedding season!

Twelve weddings! I don’t think I have been to that many weddings in my life. However, since you are part of the Thompson family, I know you have had lots of practice with all the weddings in the Thompson family. Hope you are getting some rest! Love, Kaki
You look like you are asleep. I am so glad to see that you have on pants that look like they are made in America. Hope you get some rest.
Ha! Ha! Dianna!!!! Those pants look so much better!!! Yes, you have truly made it into the Cambodian Book Of World Records (if there is one!!! I do think I would rather stand in at another wedding than scrub floors!!!! Hang in there! Love you:)
I agree with your mom. I’d much rather go to a wedding than clean up after that last wedding! WOW! Well, we will know who to call if we have questions about wedding planning!
Love you!
